  • Hyeonchung Park

    Hyeonchung Park across from the Cheolsan 2-dong office is a hill the area of which is 34,586.8㎡. Hyeonchungtap (tower) is at the top.

    An artificial waterfall emphasizing the traditional beauty of the natural rock has been constructed at the entrance of the park. This is a great place for senior citizens or families to walk because of such recreational facilities as badminton courts, exercise fields, rest areas and a mineral spring.

    It is said that the word “Mose” in the Mose three-way intersection originated from the story that “there were three nails here” or the story that a village was created west of the pond. The Yeoheung Min clan settled here and flourished so greatly that the area was called the“Min Clan Village”.

    Hyeonchungtap Park was the gravesite of the Yeoheung Min Clan.

  • Neobeudae Park
    Neobeudae Park is the hill behind Gwangmyeong 5-dong Office. Amenities include a trail, outdoor stage, pavilion, drinking fountain and badminton court. This park is a good spot for hitting the trails in the morning or for just relaxing. The wildflower beds at the bottom of the hill are an excellent place for students to learn about wildflowers in spring and summer.
    What is Neobeudae?
    Neobeudae was named because this area was a broad plain in the past and the fire set to the rice paddies in January was so beautiful.

  • Wangjaesan Mountain Park
    The small hill in Cheolsan Apartment Block XII in Cheolsan 3-dong is easy to access because it is close to Cheolsan Commercial Zone and Cheolsan station. Features include a pergola, badminton court and exercise facility. This park is a great date destination because of the beautiful forest with cherry trees, fir trees and a bamboo field.   • Gwangdeoksan Mountain Park
    This park is the hill behind Gwangmyeong Seongae Hospital in Cheolsan 3-dong. The park is surrounded by a reconstruction block. It is easy to access from Cheolsan Commercial Zone. The pavilion and exercise facility are a big draw for local young people

  • Cheolmangsan Mountain Park

    This park is on the hill across from the gymnasium in Haan 1-dong. The Haan Library, a badminton court, gateball yard, volleyball court, basketball court, and mineral spring are found here. There is also a trail around the hill. The trail reaches the top of the hill, making it a nice morning walk.

    The mountain stream behind Haan Library offers a refreshing scene in summer. It creates an affectionate atmosphere as a space for family relaxation time.

  • Garim Neighborhood Park
    This park is between Haan Apartment Complex V and Hyundai Apartments. A trail, badminton courts, and basketball courts are found on level ground and it’s a great place to exercise in the morning.

  • Soha Neighborhood Park
    Soha Neighborhood Park is on the outskirts of Gureumsan Mountain behind Mido Apartments in Soha 2-dong. Aside the hikers using this park, there are also badminton courts, basketball courts, exercise facility, pavilions, drinking fountains and toilets. It’s a nice spot for young people to get their morning jog or exercises.

  • Anteo Reservoir Neighborhood Park

    The reservoir was used as an agricultural water source. As its environmental value as a natural habitat for amphibians became bigger, the Ministry of Environment has managed to preserve ecological reservoir. An observation deck has been installed to see the wetland and Green Gwangmyeong 21(environmental group) organizes eco-learning experiences at the reservoir as an ecological learning center.

    The park is located 200m to the south, along the Dullegil Trail at the back of the Haan 1-dong indoor gymnasium. Its surroundings are forest and farmland.

  • Hannae Neighborhood Park
    Hannae Neighborhood Park was located along Hannaecheon Stream which has a trail for bicycle and various exercising/recreational/leisure facilities on both sides. There are Soha elementary, middle school, and high schools nearby.

  • Deokan Neighborhood Park
    Deokan Neighborhood Park is located between Soha 2-dong office and the Second Gyeongin Expressway. There is Ki Hyeongdo Cultural Park to the South of Deokan Neighborhood Park. Built on a forest, most part of the forest still remains reserved, allowing residents to use pergolas, benches and diverse exercising facilities along the trail when they take a stroll.

  • Ki Hyeongdo Cultural (theme) Park
    Ki Hyeongdo Cultural park is located to the south of the expressway, the second best natural scenery and Deokan Neighborhood Park, which was built as a cultural park for commemorating the poet, Ki Hyeongdo. Center of the park remains as an original forest reserve, allowing visitors to enjoy Ki Hyeongdo’s poems incised on the retaining wall of the trail.

  • Chunghyeon Historical (theme) Park
    Chungheyon Historical Park is located in the vicinity of the eastern parking lot of Gwangmyeong Cave in Soha 2-dong, and was built as a theme park on historical records of Yi Won-ik (pen-name: Ori), who served as a prime minister during the Joseon Dynasty. At the center of the park, you can see his political ideas and philosophy.

  • Iljik Waterside (theme) Park
    Iljik Waterside Park, located to the south of Gwangmyeong KTX station, is a waterside theme park surrounded by the existing wonderful natural scenery of Iljik reservoir. Nearby forest is still preserved as it used to be and being serving as a trail at the moment. There are various waterscape facilities such as a deck trail, an outskirt trail and fountain, etc.
