You can experience the wonders of
the cave at level 1 underground.

Cave Underground World

From above ground, the road goes down underground to level 1. This is the passage through which miners once carried the mined ore. The slope is 32° and there are two inclined shafts in Gwangmyeong Cave. If you go down this road, you can experience the mysterious space that was once inaccessible due to underground water.

Cave Underground Lake

Located underground at level 2, the cave's underground lake has a mysterious aura about it as it is filled with water from the underground aquifer.

Mysterious Dragon, The Lord of the Cave

The mysterious dragon 「The Lord of the Cave」 is the biggest dragon made in the country by the New Zealand company Weta Workshop from the movie the 'Lord of the Rings'. At the Fantasy Weta Gallery that has the 41m high, 800kg weight Lord of the Cave, you can appreciate Gollum, Gandalf's staff and the work that won the 2015 Gwangmyeong International Fantasy Conceptual Design Contest.

Bullomun Gate

Bullomun (不老門) means 'not getting old' and there is a myth that whoever passes this gate will be young forever in good health and able to live a long life. It is a stone gate made for good health and the longitivity of the king, and is made of one large flagstone.
